On Saturday, January 4th, the American newspaper The Hill published an article discussing the recent ISIS attack in New Orleans, focusing on Trump's counter-ISIS strategy. The newspaper interviewed Antoine Baudon, business manager and deputy director at the ICCT, who described how ISIS propaganda might be losing its traction.
'We’re seeing that these attacks don’t resonate as much as before, which tends to show that it’s more and more isolated', says Baudon. 'They’re not seeing the benefits of it. But it doesn’t mean that people don’t still believe it', he added.
