In the media: Thomas Renard on the relationship between migration and terrorism

On Sunday, June 6th, the Belgian newspaper SudInfo published an interview with Thomas Renard, Director of the ICCT.

Citing a new report by Renard and Associate Fellow Méryl Demuynck, the article mentions that terrorism is largely a home-grown problem.

Furthermore, the article quotes Renard who mentions how migrants can often become victims of attacks. "Some attacks in Europe have inflamed social media or even triggered targeted attacks on asylum seeker accommodation centres.'' observed Renard.
