On 17 September 2017, ICCT Associate Fellow Colin P. Clarke wrote an article in The Jerusalem Post about Hezbollah's traditional and effective manipulation of information warfare. Their mantra follows, "If you haven't captured it on film you haven't fought". The organisation uses all forms of media ranging from newspapers, magazines, websites to television programmes all in the effort to sustain an ideological front much needed for their political goals. Such propaganda tools are successful in proselytising recruits both locally and internationally. The article goes in extensive detail about Hezbollah's media outlets and predicts it "will remain the most dominant and capable terrorist group in the Middle East for decades to come".
