On Friday, 30th of August, the German newspaper Die Welt, interviewed Antoine Baudon about the steps taken by the French government to combat Jihadism.
“Since the wave of attacks in 2015, the anti-terror strategy has become more militaristic and repressive and focuses on criminal prosecution and coercive measures against dangerous individuals such as travel bans or arrests. This is having an effect, although stricter measures against online networks, for example, would also be important to prevent radicalization,” said Baudon.
