On Thursday, July 3rd, Le Soir, a Belgian Newspaper published an interview with Thomas Renard about the misunderstood relationship between terrorism and migration.
Citing a new report by Renard and Associate Fellow Méryl Demuynck, the article mentions how migrants are more likely to be victims than perpetrators of terrorist acts both in their countries of origin and in host countries.
However, as the dynamics of migration and terrorism are constantly evolving, ''security and migration management policies must remain adaptable, based on up-to-date data and supported by enhanced international cooperation," recommends Renard.
