On Saturday, 23rd of March 2024, Bibi van Ginkel was interviewed by the Dutch media outlet NOS on the Islamic State of Khorasan Province (ISKP) possibly being responsible for the Moscow concert hall attack.
She stated "It is quite conceivable that IS would be behind the attack. They have been active in the region before. In particular, the ISKP, the Islamic State province of Khorasan, which is mainly active in the region of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran, but also has links with all kinds of IS branches in the Caucasus."
