On March 31, 2022, the International Centre for Counter-Terrorism hosted an online Live Briefing about the myths and realities of foreign fighters in Ukraine.
The Live Briefing featured a roundtable discussion by leading experts on the ongoing response of foreign fighters, volunteers, and legions to the invasion of Ukraine. The speakers situated the nature of foreign mobilization by various actors and its implications in the short and long term. The growing threat of right-wing extremism as a global challenge was also discussed in the context of the war.
