On 12 January, 2022, 15:00 - 16:00, the International Centre for Counter-Terrorism and the Center for Research on Extremism (C-REX) hosted a Live Webinar as part of The Global Perspectives on the Far Right webinar series, to a great degree inspired by the new Manchester University Press book series, ‘Global Studies of the Far Right,’ co-edited and co-founded by Eviane Leidig, ICCT Associate Fellow for Current and Emerging Threats. This webinar covers how far-right radicalization in Southeast Asia surfaced for the search of a political identity in a post-colonial context as well as Malaysia's different far-right groups and movements.
