Together with the T.M.C. Asser Institute, ICCT drafted a guidance paper entitled Processes of Curriculum and Training Development for Capacity Building in the Justice Sector: Methodology for Success. This document focusses on the design of training curricula to enhance knowledge skills as a feature of capacity building. The paper is one of three chapters in the Guidance Document to inform the curriculum development of the International Institute of Justice and the Rule of Law. The Institute, to be provisionally established in Malta, is intended to serve as an international centre for excellence, resource and training, which is dedicated to strengthening law and justice institutions, interstate legal cooperation, and practitioner networks in the field of counter-terrorism. The report is the result of a six-month stakeholder consultation process conducted by the Center on Global Counterterrorism Cooperation (CGCC), the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) and ICCT.
