Uljana Vlagyimirova is a research intern for the Current and Emerging Threats Programme at the International Centre for Counter-Terrorism. Her key professional interests are hybrid warfare and the crime-terror nexus. At the ICCT, Uljana contributed to the analysis of the activities of Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamia (HAYI) and other projects.
Uljana completed a BSc degree in Political Sciences (hons.) at the University of Amsterdam and an MSc in Crisis and Security Management (hons.) at Leiden University. Before joining ICCT, Uljana volunteered in several NGOs dedicated to human rights and open source intelligence investigations (OSINT).
