Stephane Baele

Stephane Baele is Professor of International Relations at UCLouvain (Belgium) and Honorary Associate Professor of Security and Political Violence at the University of Exeter (UK).

His multidisciplinary research, which focuses on violent political actors' communications, has been published in leading journals such as the Journal of Conflict Resolution,Terrorism & Political Violence, Political Psychology, or the Journal of Language & Social Psychology. Lead editor of the book ISIS Propaganda (Oxford University Press), he has recently published the VOXPol report AI Extremism and AI IR: Charting International Relations in the Artificial Intelligence Age (International Studies Review).
