Nina joined the ICCT in July 2024 as the Editorial Intern. She holds a BSc. in International Relations and Organisations, with a minor in Peace and Conflict Studies. In the summer of 2024, she completed her MSc. Crisis and Security Management at Leiden University, where she specialised in the Governance of Radicalism, Extremism, and Terrorism.  

Prior to joining the ICCT, she was a researcher and editor for The West Wing, a think tank created by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, where she worked on a project for the Dutch Embassy in Tanzania. Her main interest lies in the intertwined fields of international politics, justice and security, with a particular focus on anti-institutional extremism and terrorism. During her studies, she conducted research on radicalisation into the far-right and US accountability during the War on Terror. In her spare time, she likes to read and play the piano, and she has a passion for scuba diving.
