Lilly Riedel

Lilly joined the ICCT in April 2022 as an intern for the P/CVE program. She holds a BSc in Psychology from the University of Mannheim and is currently completing her interdisciplinary master’s degree in Peace and Conflict Studies at the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg.

Her main research interests include different topics at the interface between psychology and international relations, such as radicalisation and de-radicalisation processes, the prevention of radicalisation at the individual and community level, and extremist groups’ strategies to attract new members.

She has previously worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Psychology of Education of the University of Mannheim and has organised seminars for different NGOs in Mannheim and Magdeburg centred around violence prevention, discrimination, and far-right extremist groups.
