Kathleen Soucy

Kathleen Soucy holds a master’s degree in international studies from the Institut québécois des hautes études internationales, and a bachelor’s degree in public affairs and international relations from the Université Laval. She worked as a research intern at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD) in Fall 2013, during which she focused on the resurgence of salafi jihadist groups in the Arab Spring environment, concentrating on Ansar al-Sharia in Tunisia. Her writings have been published online by the FDD and the Clinique de droit international pénal et humanitaire.
