Juliette joined the ICCT in October 2024 assuming the position of Intern within the Rule of Law Responses to Terrorism Programme. Currently enrolled at Paris Nanterre University to prepare for the bar exam, she holds a master´s degree in Fundamental Rights with a specialization in humanitarian affairs from Strasbourg University and a LLM in Public International Law from Leiden University. Juliette also completed a bachelor’s degree in International and European Law with a year abroad in Spain.

Prior to joining the ICCT, Juliette interned at the French Ministry of Justice in the Office for the Fight Against Organized crime, Terrorism and Money Laundering. She worked more specifically for the FATF/Ukraine mission in which she followed the international and national criminal legal response to the war in Ukraine.

During her studies, Juliette examined the nexus between human rights law and humanitarian law in the context of terrorism and wrote her master´s thesis on the indefinite detention without trials of terrorist suspects detained in Guantanamo Bay. Additionally, she participated in the Jean-Pictet competition.
