Cameron Sumpter is Coordinator for Counterterrorism and P/CVE at an EU co-funded project called Enhancing Security Cooperation in and with Asia (ESIWA), which seeks to develop connections between the EU and Indo-Pacific nations through a range of practical exchanges and engagements. Based in Berlin, Cameron travels to Asia frequently to organise and implement activities aimed at building deeper and more constructive relationships. Prior to joining GIZ, Cameron was a Research Fellow in the radicalisation studies programme at the Centre of Excellence for National Security (CENS), RSIS, in Singapore, where he remains an Adjunct Fellow.
