Dr. Bruce White is the founding director of the Organization for Identity & Cultural Development (OICD), an interdisciplinary research and development organization that transforms identity-based conflict and division through innovative research and practical intervention. He is the primary author of "Reclaiming Our Narratives: A Practical Guide to Countering Identity-Based Disinformation" and of the UNESCO-OICD Resource "Identity and the Arts for Social Transformation: A Practitioner's Toolkit" (2024). He is also the developer of the Engagement Method for Identities in Conflict (EMIC) methodology - a platform for research, analysis and real-world strategy and intervention design and implementation.

Dr. White's work spans conflict transformation and community development programming, developing tools and methodologies that address identity-based manipulation and extremism at all levels. His most recent work combines ethnographic research with advanced AI-augmented discourse analysis to identify patterns of linguistic and cultural manipulation. He directs the OICD to contribute to both academic understanding and practical intervention strategies in the prevention and countering of violent extremism.
