Craig Whiteside
Associate Fellow, Current and Emerging Threats
Dr. Craig Whiteside is an Associate Fellow for the Current and Emerging Threats programme. He is an associate professor of national security at the U.S. Naval War College’s resident program at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. Whiteside researches various aspects of the Islamic State and recently co-authored The ISIS Reader: Milestone Texts of the Islamic State Movement (Hurst, 2020). His ICCT publications include a history of the ISIS media department and an analysis of its propaganda campaign against the tribal Awakening. His other academic publications can be found here.
