On Tuesday, 16th of April 2024, Hungarian editorial office of Radio Free Europe interviewed the author Edit Zgut-Przybylska on the recently released book "Russia and the Far-Right: Insights From Ten European Countries."
"The Russian services are no longer focusing on the Hungarian far-right forces but are trying to influence the government", Zgut-Przybylska stated.
"As a result of the Kremlin's influence on the Hungarian political and economic elite, Viktor Orbán's government strengthened relations with Russia and weakened Hungary's ties with its allies: NATO and the EU", she added.
