On Thursday, 25th of April 2024, the French daily newspaper L'Express interviewed Marc Hecker about the newly released ICCT Press book "Female Jihadis Facing Justice: Comparing Approaches in Europe".
The article partly discussed the 2016 attempted attack in Paris, which was initiated by a female terrorist cell: “Suddenly we understood that a woman could be a terrorist like any other,” Marc Hecker stated.
