On Monday, 18th of March 2024, the French daily newspaper L'Express published an article about the newly released ICCT Press book "Female Jihadis Facing Justice: Comparing Approaches in Europe".
“The average penalty for the cases of returnees I studied in my sample is around six years, which is higher than in the other countries studied, such as Belgium, Germany, or the Netherlands,” Marc Hecker stated.
