Andrew Zammit

Andrew Zammit is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Victoria University. He has a PhD in political science from Monash University and his dissertation examined roles and agency in transnational support for armed movements, contributing to the fields of civil war studies and terrorism studies. Since 2010, Dr Zammit has worked on a range of research projects focused on terrorism and security, often partnered with Australian government agencies and departments. He currently participates in the Applied Security Science Partnership (ASSP) at Victoria University, which has conducted projects with the Victoria Police Counter Terrorism Command, the Department of Justice and Community Safety Victoria, the Department of Home Affairs, and Defence Science and Technology. He has published widely on terrorism and national security issues and sits on the editorial board of the Journal of Policing, Intelligence and Counter Terrorism.
